An entrepreneur is a risk taker who has the skills and initiative to establish a business.*

AEO’s members work to support entrepreneurs that run or plan to open microenterprises. AEO defines microenterprise as a business with up to five employees, which requires $35,000 or less in start-up capital.

As the national membership association for microenterprise support programs, AEO does not provide training or financing to entrepreneurs. To learn about entrepreneur support services in your area, find an AEO member near you!

AEO Member Services to Entrepreneurs
AEO members are organizations or programs that offer entrepreneurs the support they need to help start and grow a business. Services vary from organization to organization. Click on the links below for more information.
