The Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO) is the national leadership organization and the voice of microenterprise development. By providing cutting edge training, knowledge sharing, Federal and State public policy and advocacy, and communications, AEO empowers a community of nearly 500 member organizations to be uniquely effective in serving the needs of microentrepreneurs who do not have access to traditional sources of business education or capital.

eBay Foundation Techquity Program

Linking microenterprise programs and microentrepreneurs to technology

The Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO) is pleased to announce its continued partnership with the eBay Foundation and year three of the eBay Foundation Techquity (technology + equity) Program.

What is the eBay Foundation Techquity Program?

Provides funds to microentrepreneurs to purchase technology equipment

Also provides funds to microenterprise development organizations for operating the project and providing technology training to their clients.

Who is involved in the Program?

Sponsored by the eBay Foundation and managed by AEO.

The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) also supports the program, sponsoring one organization in the ARC region.
